Comfort dogs have been dispatched to Parkland Florida to help where they can after the terrible shooting deaths of 17 teachers and students.
“We like to say, ‘Comfort walks in on four paws,'” Brenda Burden told ABC News today.
Burden along with her husband Phil are helping out in Parkland with their dog Sasha. They also brought along the Lutheran Church Charities’ K-9 Comfort Dog Ministry which has 120 dogs that have gone where people need healing and comfort.
They have been to Las Vegas and Sandy Hook and even helped out residents and survivors of Hurricane Harvey.
