Woman Kills Two Dogs in Oregon

By -

Two dogs were shot and killed after they wandered on the property of a 44-year-old woman in Oregon.

She claimed they had killed a cat previously and feared they might be back for another attack.

The dogs, a boxer and a German short-haired pointer, belonged to two families who lived about three-quarters of a mile away from Wood.

You can read about her trial and sentencing at the sources below.

What could have been done about the apparently intrusive dogs?

Who could she have called?

Do dogs have the right to enter people’s property?

Do they really know they are encroaching on someone’s property?

How could have been avoided?
